We, the Youth Division, resolve to chant and pray that, "Under the Protection of the Buddhist Gods, we will definitely be able to purchase a piece of land to establish the next Culture Centre on Penang Island at earliest possible date."

世界的八王子

池田先生与八王子的点滴：

八王子到处青枝绿叶，武藏野像仙境般的美丽。
八王子的晚霞，景色壮丽。
仰望星空，令我想起宇宙空间也有“八王子”一事。那就是小行星“hachioji（八王子）”位于火星和木星之间- 据说其中一位发现这小行星的著名天文学家出生在八王子。他为这小行星安上自己故乡的名字。

佛法上，“八”具有“开启”的意义。
八王子的宿命就是向全日本及全世界扩大“教育”，“文化”及“和平”的浪潮。

八王子的学会组织，是我年轻时候经艰苦奋斗所创下的文京支部的直系组织。

我一有空便乘车到八王子市内。有时候还会来到八王子文化会馆。
我曾多次在车上边看会馆，甲州街道的银杏树，具有历史的千人町和目白台的街道，边唱题目，祈求这一带的发展。我曾与同志一边谈论历史，一边在小宫公园散步。
每遇到英勇的学会同志，我都会非常感动，向大家深深敬礼和送题目。

1979年5月3日，在创价大学的中央体育馆举行了第40届本部总会。被怀着阴险计谋的和尚和退转者操纵，在没有笑容和希望的会议上，我辞去会长的职位。会议中只有愤怒和痛苦的说话，激动得情绪。许多同志心酸流泪。
总会结束后，正当我离开经过走廊时，我看见一个背着孩子的妇人和几个人影。
“先生！”“先生！”
大家一边挥手呼喊，一边跑到我面前。眼睛里闪着泪光。我尽全力鼓励大家。

只不过是一瞬间的邂逅，但这当中具有既使遇到任何障碍也绝对不会变节的师弟之情，坚强和尊贵的同志世界。这就是真正的“创价学会”。
我实在非常高兴。深切感到自己是一个幸福的会长。
不管怎样，我在毕生难忘的那一天开始了新的奋斗。
我将死守八王子！
必须排除那些背叛师弟和不能够尊敬会员的家伙。

这就是八王子的传统。师弟一起奋斗的伟大传统。

• Toda Sensei said:"In starting a struggle, we must have the necessary preparation, resolve and fighting spirit, and must definitely win!"
• When the "efforts of preparation" and "resolve and fighting spirit" are all geared up, one is able to manifest many-fold of strength!
• It is not because we have surplus of time that we make preparation.
• It is because in order to win, we must be careful to make the best preparation -- this is the royal path towards victory!... excerpts, tentatively translated.

不可怠慢于作出最完善的准备！

• 户田先生言：“既然要开始奋战，就要作出所需要的准备、决意和奋斗精神，然后一定要胜利！”
• 当「准备的努力」与「决意和奋斗精神」相互牵动时，谁都能发挥出数十倍的力量！
• 并非是有时间的宽裕才作出准备。
• 要胜利，就不可怠慢于作出最完善的准备 － 这就是胜利的王道。

健康意识日 (吁请公众人士出席)

由马来西亚创价学会槟城分会主办的“提早预防，胜于治疗”健康意识日讲座，在于2010年7月4日-星期日早上10点半至中午12点半，地点在SGM bukit tambun cultural centre（武吉淡文文化会馆）.并由新加坡白汇康护集团赞助，全场入场免费

该学会诚意邀请各界人士积极参加难得可贵的讲座，也很荣幸请到两名专科医师来主讲，有来自新加坡鹰阁医院（妇产科专科医生）詹开贤医生主和新加坡伊丽莎白医院（结直肠肛门外科及腹腔镜手术专科顾问）黄文瑞医生。分别主讲题目是纤维瘤，卵巢囊的治疗和预防和结直肠癌-很可怕吗？

The Heart of a Genuine Disciple

The shared commitment of mentor & disciple is the essence of Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism.

During the World War II, Mr. Toda joined his mentor Mr. Makiguchi in resisting the demands of the Japanese militarist authorities, accompanying him to prison as a result. Thinking back on that time, Mr. Toda later said with profound gratitude:"In your vast & boundless compassion, you let me accompany you even to prison."

That is the heart of a genuine disciple.

Mr. Ikeda said:
"I know how Mr. Toda felt. I served him with all my heart too. I have no regrets. At the end, he thanked me repeatedly."

That is the true spirit of oneness of mentor & disciple.

My 30-Hour Daimkou Challenge

“My 30-hours Daimoku Challenge”

SGM Penang Youth Division kicked off “My 30-hours Daimoku Challenge” on June 1st.

Let’s re-calibrate the rationale or purpose behind the new cultural center:
- it will be a multi-purpose center that serves different kinds of activities
- it will become a center to promote humanistic ideals and Buddhist teachings of Nichiren Daishonin
- it will become a beacon that serves to promote the ideals of culture, education, peace and art
- seminars or discussion meetings on peace and education, cultural performances and exchanges, various kinds of exhibitions will be held at the center and open to the public
- it will serve as a platform for collaboration between SGM and university lecturers, scholars, artists, green activists etc
- it will serve as a center for northern region or even national kosen-rufu activities
- it will become a garden for youths to converge to discuss and study humanistic ideals together
- it will become a platform to nurture successors of the kosen-rufu in the future

Daimoku and the prayers of the youth will fundamentally lead to victories!

Come and join this “My 30-hours Daimoku Challenge” campaign!
Youths! Be the pioneers of the new culture center
Build the new culture center with the vigor and power of youth!

Let’s determine to chant at least 1 hour of daimoku daily
Praying for earliest purchase of a piece of Buddha land

Everyone determines to contribute at least 30 hours of daimoku every month

We also resolve to chant more daimoku on weekends and public holidays, two, three or five hours of daimoku
Besides, we shall meet on 3rd Saturday of every month at BTCC/PGK at 5-7pm
Together chant two full hours of daimoku
Pray for the successful purchase of a piece of land for the new culture center

《御义口传》云：“今、日莲等类，唱奉南无妙法莲华经，是如大风之吹也。”

此金言宣说题目拥有如大风般的力量，不但能使自己生命强盛起来，也可以改变众人的生命。

“大风”就是唤起民众随喜之心的正法、正义之威光势力的表现。大圣人的结论说，将所有民众以欢喜和幸福包容起来的“大风”，就是南无妙法莲华经。

我们唱诵的题目，是“生存的力量”，是“幸福的源泉”，是“获取胜利的原动力”。题目的音律，吻合大宇宙的旋律，有着从根底变革自他生命的伟大作用。

The Power of Daimoku

"Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion" (WND, 412), the Daishonin says. It is by chanting powerful daimoku, like a lion's roar, that we can move the Buddhist deities, the protective forces of the universe.

Anujit Ghosh, from SGI-UK, who made a goal of 1 hour of Daimoku each day for 100 days. He received a contract that is much more superior to what he was praying and that left him surprised.
Not only Anujit get this opportunity but also he emerged as a stronger, more confident and focused person. As Daisaku Ikeda teaches: "So I could see that Daimoku is the key to success and a happy life."

既是，为了建设新文化会馆，
每人决意每个月诚心供养最少30小时的题目

为此，我们也决意在周末，周日或公共假期，特别挑战个人的2小时，3小时，5小时或更多的题目。
除次、我们也约定在每个月的第三个星期六，
一起在BTCC/PGK从5PM~7PM,
唱诵两小时的题目，
祈求买地，成功建设新文化会馆。

今天是6月1日。也是槟城青年部推动《我的30小时挑战》的第一天。

昨晚的青年第二幕全体干部会，我们也确认新文化会馆的成立将
• 是个多元用处的会馆.
• 是向社会弘扬日连大圣人佛法人本主义思想的传播站。
• 是向社会推广文化,教育,和平,艺术, 人文理念的灯塔。
• 举办各种有关和平 ,教育的讲座及研讨会. 并将举办各类促进人类和谐的文化表演，各类和平，环境，人文艺术等的展览将在此展开，并向社会开放。
• 是我们与其它大学讲师，教育学者， 文化精英，各环保先锋，各画家，艺术家 共同携手开创和平，繁荣社会的广场。
• 将成为全国或北马举行研修会，各广布活动的中心 。
• 是一个集聚年青创价之友共同学习，共同探讨人生，共同为理想，为和平努力的 青春花园。
• 是一个培育青年部成为广布后继人才的活动舞台

胜利的 根本就是题目，是青年部们热诚的祈求！
呼吁全体青年部加入《我的30小时挑战》，决意每人以至少一天一小时题目以强盛的唱题祈求，来突破这时代的挑战！
祈求“槟城早日在槟岛找到适合的场地以建立文化会馆”!

祈求就是力量。如今的决意缔造未来。

大圣人教示：“即之一字是南无妙法莲华经也。”只要唱涌妙法，为妙法而生，贯彻“勇猛精进”的话，自能遵循此法理，必能开创变一切苦难为光荣的“逆转剧”。直到赢取胜利为止也要秉持此确信。

我们一起创造一个《我的创立80周年》特有的历史。把自己本有的佛的生命发挥吧！
