Mr. Toda said:" What is the purpose of our Buddhist practice? It is to vanquish devilish functions, to overcome our karma, and to boldly surmount every obstacle. We must win in life with faith that flows like powerful rapid."
Let us advance with that resolve!
In the 50 years since Ikeda sensei inauguration as 3rd president, carrying on in the spirit of Nichiren Daishonin, three generations of Soka mentors & disciples have overcome every obstacle and adversity. As a result, Ikeda sensei said:" I wish to proundly proclaim the resounding victory!"
Let us keep on winning in our endeavours!

７月是学会的“师弟之月”和“青年之月”
７月是学会的“师弟之月”和“青年之月”。学会有今日的蓬勃发展，是历经跨越內外各种三类强敵所取得的胜利果实。创价学会三任会长不自惜身命的师弟精神是构筑学会稳固基磐的泉源。没有三任会长就没有创价学会。学会就是“師弟精神”的結晶。这也是日莲佛法的真髓。
池田先生在《随笔·人本世紀之光》中说道：“大聖人严峻地教导师弟之道及弟子之道。御书云：‘常云有好弟子者，师徒俱得佛果，得坏弟子，师徒同墮地狱。师徒相违者，事不可成。’（御书934 页）师弟乃不二。弟子的胜利就是师匠的胜利。”
我们要将师匠的金言重复铭刻于心，以生命來守护和完成师匠的心愿；继承师匠与邪恶斗争的精神，在有生之日，彻底实证师匠的正义和伟大。这才可称为真正的弟子。只要有“誓必完成責任”的心，不管面对任何的困难，都必能涌现突破困境的智慧和力量。
2010 年是创价学会创立80 周年、SGI 成立35 周年、池田先生就任会长50周年，也是SGM广布46 周年、SGM结成26 周年的意义深厚一年。让我们以 “男子部之日” 与“女子部之日”为起点，自觉自己就是广布第二幕的旗手，秉持着“率先行动，赢取胜利”的精神付诸行动，“瞬間瞬間再創新歷史”！我们一起激励更多青年部参加7月份的“男子部之日” 与“女子部之日”吧！

Everything Depends on the Youth
Mr. Toda said:" The wheel of history never stop moving forward for even a moment. Youth, open the way forward with courage & enthusiasm! As long as we have you, the youth, the Gakkai will forever secure.
The future is determined by the presence of youth.
I began practicing the Daishonin's Buddhism when I was 19, and I have advanced straight ahead on the path of mentor & disciple for 63 years since then. When Mr. Toda decided to step down as the Soka Gakkai's general director in 1950 [so as not to cause trouble for the organization], I asked Mr. Toda:
"If you resign as general director, who will be my mentor?"
"Though I caused you nothing but hardship, I am your mentor." replied Mr. Toda.
Those words galvanised my determination. I decided that I would see to it that he became the next president of the Soka Gakkai. I was determined to achieve this, regardless of whatever personal sacrifices I'd have to make.
It was a solitary struggles. I went without salary for several months. I couldn't afford to buy new shoes. But my heart was light as I clip-clopped down the street in my wooden sandals. I spent the winter wearing as open-neck shirt. I worked very hard & saw to it that all of Mr. Toda's business debts were repaid.
Days & months passed, a new year came, and then finally on May 3, 1951, with every obstacle overcome, the victorious spring of mentor & disciple arrived, as Mr. Toda was inaugurated as the 2nd president of Soka Gakkai.
This is true oneness of mentor & disciple. And from that moment on, the Soka Gakkai began to grow with tremendous momentum.

“During our dialogue, Dr. Arnold Toynbee at one point told me that his motto was Laboremus, Latin for, "Let's get to work!"
Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism focuses on the present and future; it is infused with the spirit, "Let's get started!"
We practice for the sake of the present and future. It is important not to become trapped in the past; we have to put it behind us. The Buddhism of true cause is always based on the present moment; it is always "from this moment on."
